Welcome to PLEfit2D, a software package for the quantitative analysis of two-dimensional photoluminescence-excitation (PLE) maps of semiconducting single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs). PLEfit2D implements the fitting model introduced in our accompanying publication, providing a comprehensive description of both the emission and excitation lineshapes of SWCNTs.
The software enables reliable extraction of transition energies, linewidths, peak intensities, phonon sidebands, and other physically meaningful parameters from complex PLE datasets, making it suitable for applications ranging from chirality analysis to studies of environmental effects and nanotube filling.
Designed around an intuitive graphical user interface, PLEfit2D makes advanced quantitative PLE analysis accessible to both experienced and new users. More information on the underlying methodology can be found in the accompanying publication. The software is available free of charge for non-commercial academic use and can be downloaded after registration using the link below.
